Embed video from Microsoft Stream

Absolutely ridiculous that Microsoft introduce a product all about sharing videos, Microsoft Stream, and you can't use that to embed and share videos in PowerPoint.

Haha, you can't be serious. Develop a platform expressly designed for sharing video inside your company then forget to make it compatible with your company's own application for creating presentations. Makes total sense. Because, who would ever plan to use it that way? SMH. Horrible.

Not being able to embed Office 365 video or Microsoft Stream video into PowerPoint is ridiculous.

Fully agree that it is ridiculous, not explainable to our business users, that PowerPoint does support embed of public YouTube videos, but that it does not support the distribution of videos from their own Enterprise Video product. #FAIL

Is there already a planning for this feature? Customers are complaining. They store there video's now on youtube and not anymore in Microsoft stream.

June 2017 this feedback was created. In October 2018, Stream is still not an option for PowerPoint. Microsoft, you really need to get your different teams on the same page. It's difficult to be an evangelist for your products if they don't cleanly integrate.

The way PowerPoint currently allows embedding of videos is completely backwards. Enterprises primarily use PowerPoint, not consumers. The fact that the only content hosting platforms that can embed video into PowerPoint is YouTube or OneDrive Personal is the opposite of what is needed. Enterprises need the ability to control the content on the hosting platform. We should be able to embed videos from Microsoft Stream or OneDrive for Business using the same account we log into PowerPoint in Office 365 ProPlus.

How is this not already a feature?? MS will struggle gaining adoption of new tools if they don't support the basic functions and requirements of the tools they aim to supersede.
