Thanks for your feedback! Though PowerPoint for Mac 2016 does not include a dedicated Developer tab like PowerPoint for Mac 2011, the developer tools are still available.

These tools can be found here:
- Editor: Choose the Tools | Macro | Visual Basic Editor option
- Macros: Choose the Tools | Macro | Macros… option
- Add-Ins: Choose the Tools | Add-Ins… option

Remember, this site helps us to prioritize our backlog so the more votes a suggestion gets, the more likely it is that we’ll do it. If having a dedicated Developer tab is important to you, be sure to give it a vote!

OMG it's 2019, can we get this feature on the MACs already.

Really really need to be able to enter text from slide show. Is this another function that I'm unable to perform without the developer tab? Figured out how to do it on PC btw, just can't seem to manage it on my Mac. Ahhhhh

I just want to lock individual objects on my slide canvas. Like in any other software on the planet. It's like powerpoint supports only every second letter of the alphabet.

I'm really upset that there's no Developer tab in Powerpoint for Mac. This will be so useful for many users who use or write macros.

I attend Grambling State University with a major in Computer Information Systems. I can not express how important the developer took is not just for making simple powerpoint but for computer programing! #DeveloperIsNeeded

This function is essential for business and building forms.

Please add a developer tab... I need it for macro development and I want whatever I create to work for both macs and PCs. I use both at work and need the consistency

Why you make much inconvinient version than Windows, Microsoft?

I am starting to develop an app that must run under PowerPoint. The developer tab provides consistency between windows and mac versions.

I beg your pardon, but the Administrateur response must be a joke!? I've tried it, no way to find ALL the developper's possibilities we previously had. Is that a progress? (I am very angry with Microsoft)
