LoadPicture API needed for dynamic ribbon galleries and user forms

Please please please can we have the LoadPicture API to enable dynamic content loading in ribbon galleries and userforms? We have an existing add-in for PowerPoint:PC and clients are begging us to port the same functionality to Mac:2016 but it's not possible without this key functionality.
