Add the ability to ungroup vector objects in Powerpoint so that they can be editable!
In previous versions we could import .emf files and ungroup them so that they could be edited. Why was this functionality removed???
This is very important as my clients like to be able to modify the icons I design for them, to change colours, etc. It was very frustrating that I was able to do this previously, but now can't!
I can now import SVG files and change the colour in Powerpoint, but I can't ungroup the object into parts so it's fully editable, why is this?
I now have to use Open Office, import .emf files, 'break' the object, then save the file as a PP file. THEN I can open the file in PP and the object is editable.
This is wasting time.

Nice question!
May I suggest you take a look at the free iSlide PowerPoint add-in?
With scrollbars, libraries and much more,.. it is how PPT should always have been, even on all the latest macOS versions! And it's free!
It only needs registration of an email address to get you started.
Take a look here for an example!

We should be able to ungroup vectors to edit colors, size and shape. This option is available in windows PC, why not in Mac Version?

This works on Windows, so why not on Mac as well?

In Office 2019 firstly you have to convert object to shape and then ungroup. Some complicated paths (compound paths) can not be editable in PP.

@ahmad Are you dragging and dropping an ai file, an eps, or from illustrator? I tried dragging and dropping from Ai and I still could not ungroup the vector or edit them in ppt.

hey... I found a small trick that can solve this problem.. just instead of (copy & paste) or importing the vector into PowerPoint.. (drag & drop) it... then you'll be able to Ungroup and control your vector inside PowerPoint
