PowerPoint Custom Text Highlight Color for PowerPoint Templates
It would be very useful to be able to customise the text highlight colours when creating a template file for a more cohesive 'on-brand' feel.

This "dumb way" worked in PPT 16.40 but doesn´t work in 16.41?! Come on Microsoft!

You can do this, but you have to do it a dumb way. First, create a custom color for text (or shape even). Once you've done this, the color should also be available as a highlight color.

Even just the option to use theme colours (as in font colour, fill colour, border colour, etc...) would be useful. The fact that the colours are hard wired in and not editable seems like an anomaly. This surely can't be difficult to implement?
