Interestingly, for PP 2016 (NOT 365) the latest version is 16.16.14 and does NOT support this. I paid good money for this and would appreciate it if I were not disadvantaged with updated functionality compared to the 365...

It is already working on Mac: Preferences > Safe > Font Embedding... (PP 16.26)
