Bring back "Reuse slide" and allow formatting options when inserting slides
In Office for Mac 2011 (and for current Windows Users) one can choose to reuse a single slide (or 2, 3 etc) from another presentation and retain the original formatting. No more! With 2016 the user is forced to add ALL slides from the secondary presentation - and the formatting is automatically changed, too. For example, if you need 2 slides from a 100 slide presentation, all 100 slides are inserted and all formatting auto-changed to the receiving presentation. This renders the feature virtually useless and costs users a ton of time that wasn't previously required. The Microsoft Tech team casually dismissed this issue in 2018i, but I can't imagine they really understaand how degraded the Reuse feature is for Mac users. Please reconsider!

i have to continue to use my old microsoft 2011 program in order to merge power points. this is definitely a major setback. also there is no option to just go to my saved powerpoint files - too many clicks to get to where i want to be. definitely not an improvement - sorry i purchased it and will certainly advise others not to do so

That is a very important functionality. You designers, why don't you take into account user's NEEDS? Office Mac 2016 is a real step back compared to Office mac 2011.

They do not take into account our REAL NEEDS. It is a shame that we are under the dictatorship of software designers that perhaps has never prepare a report or a presentation.

In Office 2011, when you 'import slides' from another ppt presentation, you get a slide finder box that allows you to select which slide(s) you want, and whether or not you want the slide(s) to stay in original format.
Now, in Office 2016, when you request an import, there is no slide finder box to chose which slides you want, and no box to check off to retain format. I can only import the entire other presentation, be it one, or one hundred slides, and you lose your original formatting.
I generate dozens of pptx files and I often import slides from several earlier presentations; this is a vital feature for my use of the product.
Please restore this feature. I deinstalled Office 2016 and returned to using Office 2011.
