PowerPoint Add webcam and microphone options to "Record Silde Show" experience
The narration recording function is good but the actual face of the presenter cannot be videoed via the webcam on mac. This is available on the windows version and it seems an odd function to leave off the mac version as this is so widely used. It is really complicated, time consuming and potentially expensive to get this to work on mac due to having to purchase additional hardware/software.

This would be great. I have a presentation that I have to do but I am unable to record my camera because I have a Mac and it would have been better if this feature was also available on Mac. I don't understand why most things are missing on the Mac version. Macs should have the same features as well considering that a lot of people use Macs nowadays.

I'm so happy to hear that updates are in progress. PLEASE update this ASAP and help all of us teachers who are preparing for virtual learning. I work with Deaf students who are visual learners and ppt is my most important tool. Please enable MS ppt features for macs to make information accessible.

Due to the problems with covid all teachers badly need this tool to create learning videos for pupils in distance learning at home. It's very urgent!

How could you sadistic clowns not have enabled this feature? I paid a lot of money for this software package, and I need it TOMORROW.
I know Microsoft is not a good company, but this surpasses your previous excellence in ignoring customer needs. "Thanks for your patience" indeed. A cruel joke for something that should have been automatically put in place.

I absolutely need this function for the switch to online lecturing at university in the wake of COVID. Narrated Powerpoint with audio only, and no 'talking head', is one tenth of the experience for a viewer. If the choice is between switching to Windows to do this and finding a Mac-friendly platform, then it's goodbye Office suite - not just for the functionality but because I feel totally let down by MS.
