PowerPoint General request - make all Power Point tools equal on PC and Mac.
Microsoft is selling limited version of PowerPoint 2019 on Mac charging the same or more money. There are plenty of tools and options not available on Macs, where are quite long available on PC. This is very unfair and I'm surprised that there is still no lawsuit against that company for tens and hundreds of millions $ for making faulty software. Im just going to promote that action in public so maybe in a short time we would see significant improvement of Mac version of Office, or MS will be sued for millions. In US, in EU, in UK, wherever would be possible.

What they said. Especially, why the heck can I record a PowerPoint with my webcam video on my PC but not on my shiny new MacBookAir? Pathetic, and you guys have been promising to fix this for nearly a year. No joy yet.

I just updated my MS365 and like it very much. But, I tried working in Powerpoint using "animated text effect." I noticed Duration was grayed out in text and timing for text. Handwriting and text were not coordinated. Your support staff informed me there are some functions not available for Mac. Why? What are the fixes? When will MS remedy this problem?

A good software maker can achieve this, just compare Adobe products on Mac and Windows. Have you ever heard of a big feature missing on Windows compared to Mac? No, because they take care to create a uniform product. Not so with Microsoft, forever lagging behind on the Mac. That's a lazy and bad approach. Come on guys, get there already. It's only been a few decades.
To give you one crucial example, esp. important now: you cannot record Powerpoints with video on Mac PPT 2019 unlike on PPT for Windows. The presenter can be heard but not seen. Wow! What a crazy feature gap!

My conclusion is that like Bill Gates doest want the most useful features to be used on his competitor– the Mac. Therefore, consumers are forced to use PC or better for him – forcing us to buy PC. Perhaps thats why so many things don't work on Mac... Does Microsoft lobby developer companies to perpetuate limitations?? So many Mac limitations (not just Microsoft products) seem so silly that in 2020, advanced software development companies cant fix? I think Gates pays other companies off, in order to monopolize.

The issue for me isn't even that it is unfair for mac users to get less. It is just really annoying that if you are looking for a solution to a powerpoint issue there are 5 different answers depending on what version and what OS you have got.
