Implement a feature in PowerPoint for Mac that records the screen
It would be great if PowerPoint for Mac could record the screen like the Windows version can.
Really don't see the point in this. Cmd+Shift+5 allows you to record a window or the whole screen, and even record your voice if you want
Absolutely! We need this feature of recording screen for PPT presentations! It is so strange that Microsoft hasn't developed it! Please add it!
It's availble in PPT for Windows so why not in Mac? Yes, you can use apple screen recording https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208721 but voice is not integrated as far as I understand. Though screen recording directly in PPT is MUCH easier to have and saves time.
I've just bought a new mac and installed Microsoft 365 - all at great cost - so that I can teach online, only to find that the record screen function is not available on powerpoint. There are also features missing on OneNote. Why are the Mac versions inferior and missing features? This is wrong! I feel totally ripped off. Please add these features.

Shit-Command-5 takes a snapshot of the window. For a recording, set up timings and export as an MP4 or MOV file.
Just use Apple screen recording shift+command 5
