Lock the position of objects while maintaining editing abilities (text)
I am a designer and I do a lot of corporate identity stuff. Part of this is that I do masters for their presentations. Idea being, that the customer gets consistently beautiful presentations. However no matter how hard I try, no matter how often and intensely you tell them - they WILL move boxes, they WILL fuck up the layout and they WILL come complaining that the master you made for them "didn't last long" and "doesn't look good anymore"
I would therefore love to be able to LOCK TEXT BOXES IN PLACE - ideally also in size - so that the layout stays beautiful while they enter their text. If the font size would adapt to fill out the space that is there that would also instinctively tell them when a slide is overloaded. I asked my customers if they would feel patronized or inflexible if they couldn't move the text box - most of them actually would feel more confident in creating layouts that end up looking good. Please for god's sake, this request is - in varying shapes and sizes - all over the internet since 2016 (at least that's the earliest post i found)
