You don't have an option to record a laser pointer in a PowerPoint 365 presentation on the Mac.
You need to give the Mac version the same capability as the Windows. Also, you need to have instructions on how to do it with a trackpad.

Allow for editing the crop box of a graphic
So, if I select the crop function for a vector graphic (not a raster image) any ability to change the fill or outline of the shape used to crop the graphic is lost. Why not allow for editing of both the graphic AND it's crop box?

please make it so you can do a slideshow on one screen without the demonstrator view on your second monitor.
Just make it so a slideshow can be on one screen without taking up your seconds display, I don't mean kiosk view as you cannot write using a graphics tablet onto kiosk view.
I would make powerpoint much more usable for remote learning.1 vote -

More simple graphics in smart design ideas
I absolutely LOVE the smart design ideas in PPT. There was one slide in particular in which the system generated the perfect graphics for the content presented in the slide. It even picked up on the use of bullet points and had just the right layout options to improve the flow of the slide. However, I was only able to capture this option on that one slide, despite other slides having similar structures. Such a tool would be incredible if it became a little more sensitive to content cues within each slide.

Add Animation Trigger
Add animation triggers, bookmarks and audio in exported video files (with bookmark triggers) all appea. Lack of these buttons force people to use Apple Keynote.

Numbering in Smart Art
I'd like to be able to use numbering in my SmartArt instead of bullets if I want.

Provide mechanisms so the audiences can be polled, text in their responses, post questions, without having to add third party software

Enable Playback Speed Options for PowerPoint Audio
Please make this possible. All students going to school virtually can agree this will be a beneficial option for those who need to hear audio at different speeds.

Rule Before/After for Paragraphs
I'd like to see PPT have the functionality to add a customized (i.e., .5 point, light blue, etc) rule line before or after paragraphs so if I'm typing out a list of items and need a rule line between each item, it will automatically be added rather than having to manually create a rule line and replicating/aligning each between items.

Bring back floating palettes
In Powerpoint 2003 you could create a custom floating palette that dramatically improved work flow and production.

Create some type of "retro-engineering" functionality
This functionality would help understand quickly how an elaborate ppt presentation was created (what were the options selected on each slide: layout, font, animations etc.) in order to be able to reproduce the same format in another presentation.
It could either work us along the path the author chose, ie: 1. Selected calibri font, 2. chose this type of animation for this box etc. or by category: font, animations, layout...
It would be of great value both to people who do not make ppt presentations everyday, and therefore forget what type of functionalities exist and where to find them, and…

Superscript, subscript, etc should be "sticky"
Wouldn't it be great if superscript, subscript, and maybe even underline and bold could survive a slide reset? Definitely superscript and subscript. Maybe a single click to keep paragraph formatting, a second click to keep character level formatting, and a third to reset all?
