  1. More control for multiple monitors

I work for a university and we have varying set-ups in classrooms. A couple set-ups have been displaying slideshows on all monitors, instead of just one. My idea is to give more options in the settings for displaying slideshows. And to be able to have it set as default. Changing to "Browse by individual" is tedious for instances where multiple students have presentations because you'd have to edit every presentation.

    • New slide button

When you click on the down arrow in the new slide button, instead of opening up, it remains just highlighted. It doesnt work except we get only the standard slide.

      • Better Presentations

Some have noted great presentations sometimes have no bullets

Treat using bullets or not using bullets the same way. Make a clear choice in Master Slides to default to bullets or not using bullets. When constructing slides, use tab to go to lower bullet or not bullet the same way (smaller indented text).

Likewise currently difficult to control distance between bullet lines. There are so many multi-step ways, very complex. Need simple menu for space between (bullet) lines not in a paragraph. Space between lines in a paragraph is a separate menu. Current mix of so many possibilities is difficult…

          • audio narration on Mac powerpoint presentation

I signed up for Office 365 with the intent to be able to record narration on presentations and be able to then convert to a video format to load onto the internet (specifically FB). The MOV & MP4 options are the only options I am given on my MAC, and the presentation is converted to video wonderfully BUT with NO audio. I need the narrated audio or it is useless to me. This whole process has been incredibly frustrating.

            • Why are third party fonts STILL not working?

The latest version (16.19) still does not work properly with third-party purchased fonts. Specifically, I am using "Roboto" and neither Italics nor Bold work in the text despite selecting them in the Fonts menu. I am a professional speaker. When the fonts don't work it throws off all the written content on a slide. I am therefore still using version 15.41, where this font works.

Can someone please remind me why we are paying an annual fee for Microsoft when they are not providing a reliable service?

              • Play Embedded Videos on Slide when Exported to Video

If you have a presentation that is exported to a video that contains embedded video on a slide that's set to play automatically after exporting the presentation to an MOV or MP4, the embedded video does not play. Any animations you've made do play but the video does not. Videos do play automatically when your watching your presentation in slideshow mode but not after exporting it to an MOV.

Videos set to play automatically do do so when exporting to video on Windows but this feature doesn't exist on the Macintosh. Thank you!

                      • consistent radius for rounded corners

Our company needs to create consistent diagrams. It is extremely time consuming and a guessing game to try and use the yellow anchor to adjust the rounded corner every time a different rectangle is created.
PLEASE make a field in "Format Shape" and allow that radius to become the default shape option.

                          • Embed live webpages into PPT

Put simply, beyond embedding video (e.g., YouTube), it's crucial to allow embedding a live webpage on slides - not just a hyperlink, but a secure interactive page.

There are many reasons - teaching, grabbing the latest news or stock information, etc.

This is *already* possible in Windows..

It's possible in Office 2013 on Windows to embed a live (secure) website into PowerPoint (http://speakingpractically.com/2015/06/01/need-to-show-a-website-while-you-present-two-quick-tricks-using-powerpoint/). There's also been a *very* popular Add-In (LiveWeb - http://skp.mvps.org/liveweb.htm)

Thanks for your feedback! The PowerPoint for Mac team is reviewing your suggestion to support live web page embedding and will consider it in future planning rounds.

Remember, this site helps us to prioritize our backlog so the more votes a suggestion gets, the more likely it is that we’ll do it. If this is a feature that is important to you, be sure to give it a vote!

Thanks for your feedback! Though PowerPoint for Mac 2016 does not include a dedicated Developer tab like PowerPoint for Mac 2011, the developer tools are still available.

These tools can be found here:
                                  - Editor: Choose the Tools | Macro | Visual Basic Editor option
                                  - Macros: Choose the Tools | Macro | Macros… option
                                  - Add-Ins: Choose the Tools | Add-Ins… option

Remember, this site helps us to prioritize our backlog so the more votes a suggestion gets, the more likely it is that we’ll do it. If having a dedicated Developer tab is important to you, be sure to give it a vote!

                                • Enable Exportation of All PowerPoint Notes

I think it would be great if one could export all PowerPoint notes to PDF when converting. Currently, if one exports a PowerPoint to PDF using a Mac, only the notes on the notes page will export. Any notes that run off the page will get cut off. However, if converting using a PC, those same notes will just be rolled over to another page. I think that PowerPoint for Mac should have the same capabilities as PowerPoint for PCs.

                                  • When exported to pdf, all images in slides have grey outline

Recent issue I've noticed: Whenever I export my ppt file to PDF, all of the images I have included in the powerpoint have a grey outline around the image. It does not happen to any shapes I may have built in the pdf, only uploaded images.

                                      • Allow a default table style to be set

The ability to set a default table style in a presentation is a major omission from PowerPoint. Currently when you insert a table it takes the formatting of one of the built-in table styles, which you can then change by choosing another one of the built-in styles.

Most brands require a specific format for their tables - e.g. a certain colour of header row, a certain style of borders, etc. It would be very helpful if these attributes could be baked into a template so that new tables automatically take on the correct styling.

Currently the only workaround for this…

                                        • Advanced Timeline Feature

It would be great if the Mac version of PowerPoint had the advanced timeline feature like the p.c version; where you can see the duration of each element as a coloured bar, and manually edit and slide the timing for each element along. This would make it a lot easier to achieve more advanced motion graphics on the Mac.
