  1. Need Align Tools Keyboard Shortcuts!

The align tools are some of the most often used functions, but they are buried and have no keyboard shortcuts. Please give us something such as Alt-Shift-Right Arrow for right align and Alt-Shift-Left Arrow for left align, etc.

Yes, I know you can add them to the QAT and Alt to get keyboard commands, but these should be built in and standard.

(On the Mac, you can easily set shortcuts for these in the OS--which I do!)

    • Zoom into slide to use it as canvas

It should be possible to use a PowerPoint Slide as big canvas and then zoom into it (as an animation) to go more into detail of an object or section. This would be extremly useful combined with (more complex) diagrams / graphics (like SmartArt) to visualize (complicated) structures in a clearer (and cooler) way. Similar to Prezi, but PowerPoint should use both techniques (slides and canvas, in the form that slides are still the main elements but you can use a slide as canvas where it makes sense) and combine their advantages.

      • I think you should add text Wrapping to PowerPoint 2016

Text wrapping is a feature that would work as a good update in PowerPoint 2016. I bet this would be better for people who present their ideas using PPTs and want their slides to look better with pictures. Please add it.

        • PowerPoint 2016 Error: Chart Links to Wrong Data

Error: Duplicated chart reverts to data of original chart after the duplicated chart’s data has been changed. THIS IS NOT A FEATURE REQUEST, IT IS A REPLICABLE ERROR!

          Steps to replicate error:
          1. Open PowerPoint 2016
          2. New: Blank Presentation
          3. Insert Chart on slide: Stacked Column, this is slide 1
          4. Close the Data Sheet that automatically opened
          5. Duplicate slide 1, this is slide 2
          6. Go to slide 2: open Edit Data in Excel

              • Give an enamble/disable button for EPS insertion

Instead of just disabling EPS insertion for us, please include a check box somewhere so we can accept the consequences and be allowed to insert EPSs and see them instead of the can't be displayed message. Some of us are just plain not skilled enough to make changes to the registry and get it right. You have similar check boxes for Trust, VBA etc in Office products so you should be able to give this option as a setting and NOT a registry change. I don't think MS realizes what a game changer this is for those of us who…

                    • More than text wrapping, give us the ability--with "points" around a text box--to create multiple shapes with the text by dragging points.

                      • NEW BUG - Shape fill disappears when creating pdf

As of today I notice a new (very annoying) bug exists in PowerPoint when saving the presentation as PDF file.

I can reproduce it as follows:
                        (1) create a blank white presentation
                        (2) delete all slides but the first one
                        (2) add a shape with a fill color e.g. blue, that takes up the entire slide

Save the presentation in PDF format.

With PowerPoint 365 the shape fill turns "white" in PDF instead of blue. Only the border is displayed correctly.

Interestingly, if I make the shape smalller, e.g. 2in x 2in it will be displayed correctly in the PDF…

More and more we are printing books in spread format. We need to keep the documents in PPT since we are using alot of charts and tables. Please enable user to view slides as spreads similar to InDesign.

                                • change units from inches to pixels

Please give the option to change the units (globally) from inches to pixels - way more useful to think that way with a digital-only presentation.

                                  • I create portrait advertising 1080px wide by 1920px high but the export to video is very low resolution for some reason.

Just a few more options with exporting to videos at 100% of the presentation size and to exclude sound would be really useful features.

                                    • Please put a dash and or hyphen into the default bullet selection box.

Many of the default bullet choices are in my opinion outdated and I never use them. I do however always use dashes for sub-bullets and always have to customize, Would love to see hyphens and or dash's in the default menu. Thanks for the consideration.

                                      • Wrap text around object for Video Inset in order to support Sign Language training

PowerPoint needs text wrapping around objects, or the ability to make custom shape text boxes.

                                        • Presenter view: "hints" for next animation will be the next

Presenter view: In the presenter view I'd like to see some "hints" which animation will be the next. And furthermore see when all animations from one slide are finished and the next click would switch to the next slide.
