Pan canvass with a grabber like in Adobe products... this is a design software so it should have that as a tool... along with blend modes for colour!!!!

I very frequently reuse slides from other decks but the current reuse by copy model doesn't work for me because there's no way to check whether the slide has been updated by the owner. Ideally, when I reuse a slide I would like it to maintain a link to where I got the slide from and if it is changed, change it in my deck as well. Or at least prompt me to flow the changes in the original slide through to my deck.

In PowerPoint, could you please provide more search/replace capabilities. Similar to Excel could search and replace be restricted to selected slides, text boxes, etc. It's almost unusable as it exists because the replace is universal and most times I need to only replace a selection. Thanks you.

In the current version of Microsoft Office Powerpoint, users has the ability to add hyperlink to attachment; but the downside of this was when it was transfer to another laptop, the hyperlinks will become useless because the files are imbedded in the original source of the file.

I want to have an option to use hyperlinks and to save the actual files in the main powerpoint; just like when you add a video in the ppt, it will save in the actual file.

I like the option to use a stock image when inserting an image on a slide. But if I insert a Slide Zoom on a slide and want to use Change Image to change the slide miniature to a more attractive image, only the three options "From a File", "Online Pictures" and "From Icons" are offered to me. I would like to have the additional option to insert a stock image, as in Insert Image. This could make Zoom Slides even more attractive.

I am mostly using power point presentation in my work in a non-presentation mode, i.e. the regular edit mode. This makes all hyperlinks / actions button that I want on every slide (therefore added to the slide master) totally useless, as they don¨t work in edit mode. :(

In the PowerPoint Presentation Translator Add In, there was subtitles (integrated now natively in PowerPoint) but also a way to translate a full presentation from one language to another language.

This features was really used for all international company and as the Add-In has been removed, it's really a pain for lots of users. On my side, I will loose at least 4h per month not to have this features in PowerPoint.

Could there possibly be additional flowcharts added, such as a flowchart used for computer programming? I am doing a computer science assignment using the insert shapes, and I thought it would be neat to see a pre-made flowchart used for computer programming (for reference, look up computer science flowchart).

It would be great if you can implement customize options for PowerPoint screen recording to optimize the screen resolution of the recording file in order to reduce the data size of the recording file smaller than the current size.

Easy examples where this could be quite valuable - { TITLE * MERGEFORMAT } to ensure the Title is in the header or footer of each page, or perhaps repeated on a final page. This can easily then extend to other highly useful elements - Author, Comments, FileName, Last Modified, Keywords, Page, NumPages, Subject, and more.

Currently Internet Explorer is required to play an video inserted in to PowerPoint. As IE has been removed from Windows 10 for a number of releases now, please can you add support for Edge or another method so installing IE isn't required.

With the rise of remote learning and working from home it would be very beneficial if PowerPoint supported embedded videos from Panopto and other non-YouTube/Vimeo sources.

It's really time consuming to set up text styles and have everything look consistent.

Also I often create templates for clients and they cannot manage to apply the same style to the newly added texts as powerpoint makes it really difficult for them...
This then usually ends up in a compromise of still having it look acceptable and being set up so simple that they still can use the template...

Would be great to have paragraph styles similar to Indesign or MS Word.

As remote teaching seems to be here to stay for a while, it is becoming increasingly important to be able to open a powerpoint presentation in an individual window that can be shared in a learning platform (like Blackboard) without having powerpoint take over the whole screen, so that the teacher can still monitor student chat. It is ALSO VITAL to be able to write on the slides, but the pen feature is currently not available in the individual window presentation mode. Is there some way to fix this?

PPTX files with video and audio narration recordings can become quite large. It would be helpful to be able to remove the video whilst keeping the audio narration (with slide timings) for a whole presentation (in much the same way that once can remove the narrations for the entire presentation with a single click).
