Zoom beyond 400% in editing mode
Ability to zoom beyond 400% in editing mode. Perhaps enable something like 1000% zoom. Many of the presentation I create for work require a fine level of precision for object placement. I spend 80%+ of my time creating and editing PowerPoint presentations and this would be very helpful.

Thread/request started 4 years ago... how many votes do you need? PowerPoint, we need a better zooming function!

You are totally right. I have the same issue, using PowerPoint a lot to create views to be printed on A0 or even larger papers. Please Microsoft do Something to increase the maximum zoom.
Kind regards

PowerPoint's functionality has really stepped up in the past few years - they've added/improved quite a few functions. It's time we upgraded the ZOOM feature as well. Looking forward to this one.

PowerPoint would be more dynamic and useful with this one tweak. In the 20 years of my career as a presentation designer there has been countless times that I wished I could zoom in past the 400% limitation. In most cases I would copy objects to illustrator to make adjustments and then transfer them back. This would not always work as sometimes Illustrator would break the objects. There has to be a way to do this as Powerpoint is vector based. Please make this happen soon!

We desperately need very fine zooms!!!

Stop the regime of programmers that unnecessarily limit zoom and stuff. Just enhance zooming to infinity percent or maybe 100000 %.

It's almost 2019 and this STILL hasn't happened? If Adobe can do it, surely Microsoft can too. We have to redraw/trace a lot of clinical graphs and we usually need to do that in Illustrator and copy them in as EMF files. Sometimes the tick marks on the axes are so small, you can't grab them to recolor or move because you can't zoom in far enough. Please fix!

It's so ridiculous that it's not possible... When editing large documents like DIN A0 posters, my colleagues and I want to see if the resolution of all pictures is sufficient or if everything is adjusted properly. Just make it go to 2000% or unlimited.

This is a common request from our partners and clients and I would like to see this implemented.

I second this. To add to the frustration, its often impossible to manipulate small shapes at max zoom, so you can't even work reliably at 400% and need to zoom back out to 300%. I think the real problem is that PPT seems lack the precision to handle measurements smaller than 1/100 of an inch.
