PowerPoint while editing shapes, moving a point causes disturbance to nearby points and requires to readjust both points again. This is a bug fix.

After placing a point and its handles where you want them, right-click on the point and choose Corner Point. Then the handles will not move when an adjacent point is moved.

That's kind of rude to decline them when they went through all of the trouble to come here and give polite feedback to make your website better. Thanks for helping them with their issue. Not cool. :(
