Slide notes layout gets messed up when switching from local to web and vice versa
Since we moved to Office 365, we've had issues with speaker notes (or slide notes). Because people work in collaboration on PPT documents, they don't always use the same app: web, local, mobile.
What we've observed is that if someone starts slide notes in local, and then opens the PPT in the web (or vice versa), the layout of the slide notes becomes unmanageable, and unprintable. Since those notes are usually for higher management, it becomes difficult for my team to provide them with clean, well-printed speaker notes.
The only way we found that works is to use only one way of working. Meaning: everyone uses the local app OR the web app. Any combination (local, web, mobile) transforms the layout into an unprintable mess.
Has someone seen that issue? Any help would be appreciated :)
Thanks for reporting this issue. We fixed this issue that you described earlier this year.
I'm still having this problem on O365. Is there any more information about how it's been fixed, or how to fix affected PowerPoints?

My understanding is that this is a bug which has been fixed. I'd make sure all users have installed all Office 365 updates.

I experimented the same experience as Geneviève Breton. It's not cool... Thanks in advance for fixing this
I had the exact same experience as Stephanie and Genevieve... many many (too many) times! Thanks for fixing this!
Same as Geneviève

I experienced this situation many times and found no other way to correct the speakers notes than copy-paste everything in a previous version of the PPT saved on purpose on my computer.
