Slide Library Management
Add the ability to export, search, and import individual slides from a slide library (file folder). Each export should include the ability to add one or more tags to make it easier to find a slide to import. The search functionality and import browser should show the slides so that you can easily view the slide before importing it.

It is obviously no longer possible to manage content updates on slides that appear in a number of presentations. Powerpoint object links as an alternative are not found if the slides were saved in Onedrive.

I strongly echo the comments to bring back the Slide Library feature and to build on it.
This feature was simplistic in earlier versions but a very good start. It's extremely disappointing to see it go. It's also disturbing. It once again demonstrates that Microsoft does not pay attention to the real world challenges of using its tools in a Business setting. As others have commented - Co-authoring is not the counterpart for the Slide Library.

Co-authoring is NOT the same feature we had with a slide library

This feature must be reinstated. To create streamlined workflows and consistent information that can be updated centrally.

Please bring back slide library. Co-authoring does not achieve the same goal, and can cause inconsistencies with slides that are being used across the organization that should remain the same.

NEED SLIDE LIBRARY BACK!!! WE HAVE SEVERAL SLIDES THAT WE USE THROUGHOUT MULTIPLE DECKS AND ALL HAVE DIFFERENT OWNERS THAT ARE RESPONSIBLE TO MAINTAIN. WITHOUT THIS FEATURE WE HAVE TO DO ALL OF THIS MANUALLY AND IT'S A NIGHTMARE. PLEASE BRING SHAREPOINT SLIDE LIBRARIES BACK ASAP!!

Slide library and 'co-authoring' don't achieve the same thing. Slide library was a great way to manage content updates on slides that appear in a number of presentations. This is a key feature that is greatly missed.

Slide libraries have allowed our organization to maintain consistency between numerous presentations for years. The lack of this feature has introduced a PowerPoint presentation nightmare. We now have to rebuild our standard slide decks every reporting period, rather than having the ability to refresh from one central location. Please bring this feature back and make it easier for our users to maintain their slides. I would be happy to give more feedback if needed.

Bring back the slide library. I had it with an older version of SharePoint several years ago and now need it for my current organization. Why would this feature be eliminated?

Co-authoring is NOT the same feature we had with a slide library:
We like to use a PPT that has links to sections in another centrally stored PPT.
In the central PPT we would cover sections of specific topics that can be updated regularly, so that the first PPT (referring to the sections in the central PPT) is always current.
