Improve DPI scaling over different monitors for all office apps
Please improve DPI scaling over multiple screens with different scaling. All apps should scale according to the setting of each monitor. When scaling, apps rendering should stay sharp and accurate (not blurry!)
Thank you for submitting the feature request!
This work has been completed and released to Office 365 users in March. Please update your build to version 16.0.9029 or newer, and give it a try!
Again, thank you for helping us improve our product! And, please keep voting on the features that are important to you.
I have been staying in TUNE since 2015 for 3 years to get this right... I did not know the people in MS are so dumb to fix this small issue.... give us a proper solution for the money you get from us...
It is 2018 now and it still does not seem to be fixed - at least for me

Windows 10 scaling is nightmare! How 3rd party apps are supped to handle it when own MS software (or even parts of Windows) cant? When I move widow of any MS office suite from surface to external screen its all Blurry.
This feature would be extremely helpful, as having a Surface Pro 4 at 2736x1824 and two external monitors at 1920x1080 each, makes for an awful experience in trying to move PowerPoint to either of the external monitors when editing, as the UI title bars, toolbars, and text do not scale down as they do within Word or Excel.
It's now mid feb 2017 and no fix!
It's January 2017, powerpoint still not scaling on extended screen. Manifest edit now not able to fix the problem. It's a real pain
Hi, it's January of 2017 and I'm still having this scaling issue with ppt, skype for business and the snipping tool. Corporate america works on power point, this is a huge issue. Where is your solution?
Waou, I wonder if solving such a problem involves re-coding all PowerPoint, because since January 13,2016 (first answer) no improvement, PowerPoint and snipping toll are NOT scaling properly, whatever the second screen you use, the published solution twisting the PP manifest is only temporary as it is always removed by your updates, before the Win10 anniversary I was told by one of your tech assistance (by phone) that this issue will be solved with the 1607 version but it's not, nor with the insider build. As soon as you have a clear solution, please publish a Press Release so we will be informed.
Yay! Happy to hear!
The scaling on my wife's Yoga Pro is amazingly bad. The ribbon items are so small it is impossible to see them and they cannot be changed. Apparently this has been a Powerpoint problem for many months.
Hey Microsoft, fix the problem!!!

Thank you so much! Every few weeks I have to go into the Powerpoint.exe.manifest file, change permissions and change the dpiaware setting because there has been a new update that overwrote the old setting. Especially with PowerPoint the dpiaware ability is critical. I really appreciate you fixing it.
All the best,
Wow, the Surface issues (this is not the only one) are really getting ridiculous to say the least. I was expecting a boost in productivity with my Surface Pro 4 and Office 365 - and issues like this keep me from concentrating on doing my actual work properly. Here's another one: try using a USB 3.0 device (like a drive or memory stick) with a standard 2.4 GHz Wifi connection: it just doesn't work properly with the Surface.
Users around the globe have the same question and message: why have we spent $1500+ plus Office 365 if it doesn't work properly? Why isn't MS responding professionally?
I gave up my Apple PC for the MS tablet features not realizing that I would not be able to work in PowerPoint - Word and Excel are equally critical to my work! Very sad and frustrating. Like someone else said, when you're as big as MS you really don't have to satisfy your customer. I've spent too much to give up on my Probook 4, so, I'm stuck. Fooled me once before and I went to Apple 8 to 10 years ago, but, won't fool me twice - as soon as I can justify the $$$ I'll switch back.

Microsoft, I tweeted you requesting for you to look into the issue and to solve it. Instead, you redirect me back to another community thread.
I do not wish to update my registry; we pay monthly subscriptions so we would expect fixes to be made during software updates. (You know, the forced updates that take 10 minutes whenever I'm trying to shut down my computer in a hurry.)
Reposting this for my other frustrated users to have a look:
@MicrosoftHelps To address DPI concern, kindly follow the steps provided by Jayant Gupta on this link: helps.ms/oFIQSM.
Please fix this, or I might personally speak to Satya about this the next time he is in town.
How many people have to bring this to your attention before you at least respond and acknowledge the problem? Step 2 would be providing a solution. Also, you know this is a problem on Skype for Business too, right? Please fix your broken products.
All us frustrated people
where do you stand on a fix for this?
This is ridiculously frustrating, can't believe this is an issue right now. Still.
Disappointed this issue has taken a company as big as Microsoft over 7 months to "review". Really glad a $2k computer is now worthless to me when needing to work on PowerPoint which is an application I use daily in my business.
Fix this shit MS. It has been at least a year with no progress.
It happens only on PowerPoint on my environment(Win10, 64bit, ver 16.0.4266.1001, main-2560x1440/external-1920x1080)
