Improve the interface!
Make sure that every element on every ribbon has tab access so we can move easily between adjacent settings. We should not have to move and click the mouse just to move the cursor from one setting to another.

Move comment box option
Be able to move the notes section.
I like that you can resize it but I would like to be able to move it so that it is off to the side like it is in presenter view. Often times there are so many notes that you either have to make the slide small or scroll to see them all. I find that in presenter view with the box vertical next to the slide instead of horizontal under the slide you can actually see all the notes.Having the ability to move where the notes box is would be a…

Enable customization of object default format
I don't use the shadows, I don't like blue lines. Why does each time I use a line it has to be blue, 2pt wide, and with a shadow? Why do I need to adapt to your software and not your software adapt to me?
I am pulling my hair out.

I usually use online MS Powerpoint and it is great, My idea is that it would be great to develop an online clicker for Windows phone
I use online MS Powerpoint and love it, My idea is that it would be great if you could develop an online clicker for Windows phone. Unlike existing commercial clickers, it wouldn't need any extra piece of hardware or USB dongle.

Allow copy/paste of slides without linking the data - like it has always done!
With the new powerpoint 2016 you can no longer just copy a slide as the chart in the new slide will be linked to the data source of the original slide. it's not visible until you open the chart in the original slide and it changes to match the data you input for the new slide - so you have to slides with hte exact same data.
I simply can't fathom why this is no longer possible to do
5 votesI’m not able to repro your issue. When I copy the slide, the data source is tie to the new chart as opposed to shared. This is the legacy behavior. Would you be able to share your file and repro steps? You can submit it via http://support.office.com.
Thanks,

Ability to evenly distribute columns or rows in a table
The ability to edit a table in powerpoint is RUBBISH. It would be amazing if we could automatically change column / cell widths etc. so that it had the same formatting flexibility as in excel.

Saving a slide as a jpeg
When you save a A4 PowerPoint slide as a jpeg and insert that image in a A4 Word doc, the image does not cover the entire page. Dimensions of the image are smaller than A4.

imitate inkscape
All is wrong with your user interface. The grid size, not being able to lock items, the bug where you can't reload linked pngs, I can write all day. Do you know Inksscape? Learn from those guys and save my hours of hate.

Problem with PowerPoint 2010
I run PowerPoint 2010 on a Windows 7, 64 bit platform. When the software opens, there is a RED line under the “A” (for font color) in the font tab.
This would indicate to any normal person that they would be typing in RED and need to change it. BUT NO, the font color is Automatic Black (as it should be) when I start typing.
When I open the Font Tab and manually select Automatic Black, the color of the line under the “A” in the Tab changes to black. I save the doc. Close PowerPoint. Re-open PowerPoint and the…
