    • Support for Newtek NDI as Display Outputs

      NDI - Network Device Interface
Is a cross platform royalty free Video Over IP technology. Predominantly used in Broadcast and Webcast type events but gaining popularity in other areas such as Digital Signage.
Any computer can be an NDI Receiver so you can show presentation on many displays on a network.
You can by dedicated NDI Receivers
Ideally we would have the option to send PresenterView and PresentationView as separate NDI Sources.

      • Add Posture Changeable 3D Models of Persons

If PowerPoint can add 3D models of persons (male, female, child, adult, etc.) and make the posture and facial expression of the models changeable and controllable, for example, a user can change the posture of a hand or change smiling to crying, then PowerPoint will become a very powerful tool for users to draw people's without need of drawing skills. The posture-change function can be designed in such way that no matter how crazy a user tries to change a posture, the software always results in a reasonable posture. For example, if a user pull the hand above the head…

        • Allow Grayscale Features on Chart Labels

Would love to have ability to change grayscale settings on chart data labels. For example, in B&W my stacks that have dark fills also have dark font data labels and it's very hard to see. I currently have to work around that by using text boxes and it's time-consuming.

            • New modern animations

It would be nice to have some new animations. For example, the 'erase' animation wipes it like gradient, but you can also add an option to erase it without gradient animation.

                • Allow editing of an embedded spreadsheet during a live webinar.

Allow editing of an embedded spreadsheet during a live webinar. Working from a second screen it will be great if we could make changes to the spreadsheet which reflect on a live presentation. Currently when a range of the spreadsheet is pasted special as a Microsoft Excel worksheet object, changes can be made in the spreadsheet that reflect into the presentation. As soon as PowerPoint is changed from an editing mode to a presentation mode the spreadsheet closes and further changes cannot be made. Excel should remain open.

                  • Add a "Center selection on zoom" toggleable option

This allows the user to choose between zooming to the center of a selected object or zooming to the cursor's location.
This option already exists and is implemented in Visio (advanced options).
I have seen quite a few complaints about the "zoom in to selected objects" feature and this seems like an easy fix.

                      • Do Not Require Checkout or Save As in Notes Page View for PowerPoint Files on SharePoint

Our organization recently moved to a full SharePoint implementation replacing our File Server. When our users are accessing a PowerPoint saved to SharePoint and select View --> Notes Page Presentation View, PowerPoint (client install) prompts "Edits made in this view will be lost when saved to the server. Use Save As to create a copy and make changes."

I've read that this is due to Microsoft not supporting co-authoring for notes. Regardless, it creates unnecessary headache for our users to Save As a new file and then reversion into the previous file.

For now we're instructing our users to Check…

                        • Reorder comments

It would be great if you could drag comments to change their order. You can move around the comment bubbles on the page but the order of the comments in the sidebar is fixed in the order they were created.

                          • Bring back the visual "tabs" on the ribbon.

Since Microsoft Office evolved (and positively so!) to the "ribbon" interface in 2007, visual awareness of which ribbon tab the user is in (Home, Insert, Design etc) has been an important design element incorporated into the Office applications. In 2013, Microsoft removed the color behind the ribbon tabs, making it a bit more difficult for the user to see, at a glance, which tab they are in. In 2016, Microsoft brought back the color behind the ribbon tabs, and it again became very clear to a user as to which tab they are in. As both a UX designer and…

                            • Allow to Change videos like in images. It saves time. We can simply change the video while other settings remain the same

This will save time. once I insert a video I have to re-do the animations and it takes time. If I can change the video like in images then it will save time

For students using PP it would be very helpful to be able to see the slides in Presentation view, but also be able to change the notes. Or, be able to swap the notes and slide list positions.

                                  • Add some of Microsft Words features

Add some of the features that already exist in Word, one thing to add is the multilevel list. Other features like the word count for the slide and the whole presentation, another thing which could be helpful is the Subscript and the Superscript, all those features are simple but still great, and will help many people who use PowerPoint

                                    • Embed local HTML5 files (if kept with pptx file, with static path) in slide

Now that Flash is dead, a lot of us have converted old Flash animations and interactive widgets to HTML5. I don't want to post all these publicly on the web as they are part of the service we sell, but am happy to keep them in the same directory as a set of pptx files for a specific course say. I'd like a 'native powerpoint' way to be able to embed them into slides (not as a whole slide). I know you can embed video and I played about with iframes but that doesn't seem to work for local files,…
