  1. I create portrait advertising 1080px wide by 1920px high but the export to video is very low resolution for some reason.

Just a few more options with exporting to videos at 100% of the presentation size and to exclude sound would be really useful features.

      • We should be able to insert a video using a web address of a dropbox

Currently one can only insert video links from videos posted on youtube or on one's computer. This is not useful when one has a large video stored on one's dropbox site. Whatever the link is, it should be accepted by PowerPoint for viewing.

        • change units from inches to pixels

Please give the option to change the units (globally) from inches to pixels - way more useful to think that way with a digital-only presentation.

          • feature to Prevent Vertical scrolling in powerpoint while in editing mode

There should be an option to lock a slide so that the PPT does not jump to next or previous slide while in editing mode, so that we can work while zooming around the entire sheet.

            • Store more than one "format painter" setting (for shapes)

There are a few shape formats that I use *all* the time, often bouncing back and forth between them. For me, one is a white square with no border, and another is a clear rounded rectangle with no fill. If there was a way to have one button remember the shape and settings, or even if I had to add shapes, allow "format paint" a specific format but have more than one option always available (tweakable by the user) so I could add the shape, then just click the appropriate icon to have that shape fully formatted... that would save…

              • High CPU usage for Slides that are stored in Onedrive

CPU usage of Powerpoint is very high when the Powerpoint presentation is stored in a location that is synced by the Onedrive client, e.g. Sharepoint or Onedrive for Business.

Copying the presentation to a local-only storage reduces CPU usage to normal levels.

Unchecking "Sync Office 2016 Files" on the "Office" page in the Onedrive Sync Client (blue, 17.3.6998.0830) also reduces CPU usage to normal levels, but results in missing functionality.

                Could this be fixed?

                Discussion here:

                • Allow powerpoint to embed website

Embed a website in powerpoint, so that it can be browsed interactively during presentation, similar to embedding a website in another using iFrame

                  • Slides viewed in spread format similar to InDesign

More and more we are printing books in spread format. We need to keep the documents in PPT since we are using alot of charts and tables. Please enable user to view slides as spreads similar to InDesign.

                    • PowerPoint 2011 does play OK but PowerPoint 2016 does not play movies

PowerPoint 2011 does play OK but PowerPoint 2016 does not play movies

In summary, PowerPoint 2011 plays the movie on both original ".ppt" and saved as ".pptx" without deleting and inserting it, yet PowerPoint 2016 does not, unless I delete the movie and insert it again. Any idea to fix the PowerPoint 2016 issue other than deleting and inserting again the movie? As said I have hundreds of movies on many PowerPoint files and doing it on a one-by-one movie basis would take months or work! Thanks.

More information and files to download and reproduce the issue:
                      Cannot play ".mov"…

                          • Allow Animation for Design Idea Templates

I've noticed that when you use a template from Design Ideas, you cannot make it animate so that one bullet point appears at a time. It's all or nothing, which is very frustrating when you use PowerPoint for teaching purposes. My suggestion is that you fix this feature so that you can animate Design Idea templates to release one bit of information at a time. It shouldn't be an issue to begin with...

                              • insert shape -- remember settings

I'd like to offer a suggestion.
From within powerpoint, I often use the same shape style over and over. I made a circle with the outline red, heavy border, and an shadow--no shape fill.
I'd like PowerPoint to remember these settings so that the next time I make a shape, it will default to that setting instead of what seems to be the default--a green fill, no border, no shadow.
Same thing with drop shadows. I have a certain way I like those and end up recreating the same effect over and over. I wish it would default to waht…

                                        • Please can we embed videos from Planet eStream. YouTube is not the only video platform on the web... Thanks :)

It would be great to have the option of embedding videos from other sources other than just YouTube. We use Planet eStream and would very much like to embed this content on PPT. Thanks
