  1. Horizontal and Vertical slides in same presentation

Very often we require a presentation to change between a portrait view, back to landscape and back to portrait etc. In the past we have created links to go back and forth between the 2 which works when using a mouse and not when using a clicker from the back of the room. This is very time consuming for our admin staff and a change with this would be very appreciated. Currently updating to Office 2013.

  2. Text Wrap

I think, like with every other Microsoft editing software, offering text wrap for PowerPoint would be the bee's knees.

  3. I would like to view more than one slide in presenter view. This was in office 2007, why did you change it?

On my 2007 version of PPT when in presenter view I am able to see I like to see the next 4 slides or so. This is extremely helpful. I suggest you bring this back or allow some customization to the presenter view. I am still using the 2007 version on my laptop because this feature is most important to me. I am a professional speaker and deliver seminars 40 times a year in different cities.

  4. Slide Lists view.

I want to view PowerPoint file at Slide Lists View like PowerPoint Desktop.
By Slide Lists View, I can check all slides easy, re-ordering some slides, and looking for slide.

  5. Animations

Hey. Can we get animations for PP on mobile too? We only have the playback functionality which doesn't help while creating slides on mobile!

  6. Add ability to draw (ink) on slides

PowerPoint Mobile doesn't allow marking up with a pen, which is exactly what I'd like to do with my Surface.

  7. Landscape Edit Mode

Taking notes on my 950XL makes university simple and accessible everywhere. I use a Bluetooth keyboard and dock in a mouse. It's impossible to find a portrait-standing case for the 950 XL, and obviously plugging anything into the phone makes it impossible to stand up. The only way to edit slides or even take notes is currently in portrait mode! To maximize the usage not only of powerpoint, but of the 950XL and windows mobile there must be a landscape orientation edit mode.

  10. Transparency for shapes

Maybe I just can't find it, but I want to be able to adjust the transparency of shapes in the Mobile app like I can in the desktop app

  12. one tap on slide should add option for textbox (tablet only)

In desktop version (on my Surface), one tap brings up a bunch of options, some of them not as important as others. But in mobile I only get the option to paste. I insert textbox quite often in my slides, and think you should add that option to the paste-icon that pops up when you tap the slide. This is how I do it on the desktop application.

This should perhaps only be done in tablet version. Seems like it would be annoying on the tiny screen of a phone.

  13. New option to edit and insert a meme

Add a new option to the "Insert" menu to edit and insert a meme.

It should search images in some meme database (using bing?), open it to add top and bottom texts and them insert it to my presentation.

I added it to Windows, but it should be useful for every platform.

  14. Backward compatability

Most corporate-employed educators have PowerPoint presentations that date back to the first version of PowerPoint, and we always build our new training material upon the previous versions. We need affordable software that will allow us to convert our older PowerPoint presentations to the newer PowerPoint formats, so that we do not have to entirely "re-invent the wheel" when are producing new training material. I personally own legally licensed older versions of Microsoft software that includes every version of PowerPoint, up to the latest 2013 version. Why can't I use these older PowerPoint formats to help me to convert my old…

  15. Add the feature "translation"

The UWP version of OneNote has added this feature, just like the Windows desktop version of Word and PowerPoint.
In many cases, I need to view a presentation with foreign languages. To save battery life and get better touch experience, I prefer to use PowerPoint Mobile rather than PowerPoint 2016/2019. However, due to the lack of the feature "translation", I have to use the desktop version.

  16. Contextual Alternates for open type fonts

Allow the correct joins to be used for handwriting fonts in the same way as they work on MS Word. The coding must exist already so please use it on PowerPoint too. Thank you.

  17. Enable external hyperlinks to slides in other presentations and to video files

Unlike on PCs, hyperlinks only currently work to slides within the same presentation in mobile applications. This is illustrated by the two examples in the folder PP Test, accessible through the link
https://1drv.ms/f/s!AvSnxmSHPgCOiWdJZub1sLF7ds61, which contains 3 powerpoint files and a video file. The first example is represented by File 1, which contains a single powerpoint presentation with locally linked hidden slides and an integrated video file. The second example is represented by the two powerpoint files File 2 and File 2.1 and the video file Windmills.mp4. A slide show of File 1 works the same way on a PC…

  20. Question

We have a 563 slide PPS (10 secs a slide) which includes Gifs and looped music. We wish to save it as a wmv. We have a Pentium 4 with 2GB of RAM.
Are we being unreasonable to expect Powerpoint to save this show as a WMV? Or can Powerpoint do this?
