   I like the idea. BUT: There has to be an option to turn this feature off, so that there are no false advances, if a presenter does not want to use it!

   No, please do not add that useless feature! Automatic resizing results in different font size on all slides and makes them very hard to read. It is better to use the same font size and divide long texts between two slides. In the few cases where smaller text is required, it can be formatted manually.
