Why exactly would I ever need to work in flipping inches for a digital presentation? Which 78 year old at Microsoft is in charge of this thing? Not only do we need the option to switch to pixels, but it should be the default. No question. This isn't even something that should be voted on, just do it, please, now, this second

    Oh my life.

Im in so much pain. Using powerpoint is bad enough, but finding out that units are in cm and can't be changed to pixels is the dumbest thing.

I don't understand why the total basic stuff isn't standard. I can't even set up columns using the guides, because they're not accurate and again, work in cm, WTF!? Why do people like using this? Its complete garbage. Having to build stuff using this so teams can use it as a template. How did this god awful piece of crappy software become standard!? Im in so much pain. Send help.

This should be a standard feature, its crazy. Why would every company want to use the exact same icons as each other?

We have our own custom set of icons, and the only way to make sure our team use them is to have a 'template' powerpoint doc which includes slides containing all of the icons.

Less than ideal, and a rubbish workaround. It should be part of setting the 'theme'.

Again, another totally standard feature that shouldn't need to be voted on. Why on earth doesn't it do this already!?????

Can't believe im writing this about the worlds most popular presentation design software, but I've found the fix is to make your guides somewhere else (illustrator, for example) and paste an image of it in your master slide. Work to that, then delete it from the master when you're done.

Complete garbage, but only way I can see to do it.

    I feel like crying
