Format a shape the way you want it, right-click and choose Set as Default.

You can change many of these settings also by choosing a different effects theme.

PowerPoint has the ability to save as video already.

The most frustrating thing here is PPT 2003 and prior had a proper title case. It morphed into "capitalize every word" in PPT 2007. It's very sad.

I'm pretty sure this was an issue back in PPT 2003 and prior also.

Plus, the fake/hidden-slide-before trick is difficult to make work with the new Morph transition....

Stephan, there are a number of crop options on Windows PPT also. Insert a picture into the picture placeholder, then click the CROP button on the Picture Tools tab. You can move the picture and resize it within the crop frame. You can also use Crop to Fit and Crop to Fill options to change how the image is cropped. (Yes, it would be nice to be able to set these options on the placeholder itself.)

So how does this work for those who think it will help them project vertical content "better"? Does the vertical slide height simply match the height of a horizontal slide? So it's 7.5" tall by, what, 4.22" wide? That doesn't exactly help when printing.

It's almost like there would need to be a way to determine if the file will be printed or projected, yet I can see that being a nightmare.

@XLE, you might try docs.com It's similar to the embedding from OneDrive, but the quality may be better. Additionally, docs.com allows you to disable downloading of the PPT file -- it can be viewing only.

Have you tried clicking the button that looks like slide sorter view? It's called "Slide Grid," and it's basically slide sorter view. If you click in it Presenter View, only you see it -- not the audience. (But I agree I'd also like to see a few more slides, but not necessarily the entire slide grid.)

Yes, other versions have this ability, too. Not sure why this is a suggestion.

Just so it's 100% clear, I assume you're asking for the ability to save a custom table design here, yes?

If you install the free Social Share add-in for PowerPoint, you can easily create and post memes.

When we insert notes in the notes pane, we can apply formatting (font size, font color, bold, underline, italics, etc.), and this formatting appears when we view or print Notes Pages.

Why does all of this formatting not appear in the notes pane, and, more importantly, why does it not appear in Presenter View. Bold, italics and underline appear.

Please make font size and color changes appear in the notes pane and in Presenter View.
